About Us
The Chacmool Archaeological Association is the undergraduate archaeological association at the University of Calgary.
Our purpose is to:
- Represent the archaeology students of the University of Calgary
- Promote archaeology by way of lectures, workshops, movie nights, and the largest undergraduate-organized conference in North America
- Provide resources to student, faculty, and members of the public interested in archaeology
- Organize social events for Chacmool members, archaeology students, and other interested students at the University of Calgary
- Participate as volunteers and fundraisers for the annual Chacmool Conference
