2010 Chacmool Conference Policies
Registration and Payment
- Presentersmust submit an abstract, register, AND pay by 5pm MST October 11th 2010. If a presenter fails to do so by this specific deadline, they will not be added to the schedule of presenters (they will not, nor will anyone else, be allowed to present their accepted paper).
- Registrationand payment are not the same process. Indicating that you intend to pay by creditcard on the mail-in form does not mean that you have actually paid. Payment must be received by 5pm MST October11th in order for presenters to keep their position in the program.
- After 5pm MST November 6th, 2010, only a Day Rate (35$/day) is available in order to attend the conference. The PayPal option will be removed on the above date; the Day Rate can only be paid at the conference.
- Only Canadian currency will be accepted as payment for the Day Rates at the conference. Cheques and Credit Cards will not be acceptedat the conference. There is a cashmachine available at the venue for your convenience.
- Download the PDF registration for post or faxsubmissions . Cheques will be acceptedby post in Canadian and US funds only, for the amount specified in Canadian funds (a 1:1 exchange rate only).
- Banquet tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Once maximum occupancy for the banquet room is reached, no further banquet tickets will besold and this option will be removed from PayPal. A maximum of 60 banquet will be sold for the conference.
- Registration and Banquet Ticket purchases may be refunded on request, on or before October 28th 2010. Requests for refunds received after 5 pm MST October 28th 2010, will be denied.
