Prospective Students

Application to the Archaeology Graduate Program MUST be made using the: On-Line Application Form. This application will be activated October 31.

Doctoral Open Scholarship Competition:  Please see this link for our: Scholarship Application Form. Masters Open Scholarship Competition awards are assigned by the department, MA applicants do not need to apply.

The department's deadline for both graduate school application and doctoral open scholarship application is January 15th, applications received after this time will not be accepted.

You can access application reference forms for your referees to use here.

You can access scholarship reference forms for your referees to use here.  Select the fourth item from the bottom of the listing - "scholarship reference and request form".

You can either collect the references (in sealed envelopes) yourself and send them to the department with your other application materials, or have your referees send your reference to the department directly at:

Students should note the following Archaeology Scholarships: The Friends of Head's Smashed In Scholarship, the Coutts Family Western Canadian Graduate Archaeology Scholarship, the Martha Biggar Anders Memorial Award and the Wigham Family Scholarship.
