Submission Guidelines

(1) Formatting: All submissions will be submitted in PDF format via email and include the following:

·         Cover page. Including title, author(s) name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and email correspondence address.

·         Abstract. A brief, concise summary of the article content in the language of submission. 300 words maximum.

·         Text., 12 pt Times New Roman font. Please include in-text figures, tables and accompanying captions.

·         Acknowledgements. Where applicable. 150 words maximum.

·         References. 12 pt Times New Roman font. Please DO NOT use automatic formatting styles for indentation (e.g., hanging indents embedded in the page layout).

 

(2) Style: All submissions should comply with the current Society for American Archaeology’s “Style Guide” available athttp://www.saa.org (English and Spanish versions are available). Manuscripts that do not follow the guidelines for style will be returned to the author(s) for further revision.

 

(3) Permissions and Legalities: Authors are responsible for securing and maintaining permissions with regard to personal communications present in the manuscript, and the reproduction of images from published sources (evidence of which must be contained within the figure caption.
