Denver Art Museum features an exceptional collection of pre-Columbian art.  Learn more about the museum at: http://www.denverartmuseum.org/collections/pre-columbian-art   Of particiular importance is the Frederick and Jan Mayer Center, with an extensive collection of pre-Columbian Costa Rican art as well as a lecture and conference series.

Smithsonian Institution

University of Calgary Archaeology Department museum features archaeological collections from Central America as well as both Mesoamerica and South America.  The collection was acquired in 2012 from the Glenbow Museum in Calgary.  Students are currently analyzing aspects of the collection to create an on-line catalogue.
